This is a standard and professional practice in bronze sculpture making. Casting a sculpture as a solid block of bronze may cause internal stress, deformation, or cracking during cooling. Hollow casting helps ensure structural stability, proper form, and long-term durability. It also allows for safer handling and transportation.

This can be a normal characteristic of cast bronze sculptures.During the casting process, sand-based molds are used to shape the interior structure. After casting, the mold material is carefully removed, but in rare cases, tiny residual particles may remain inside the hollow cavity. Over time and during transportation, these particles may loosen and create a faint sound when the sculpture is gently moved. This does not indicate a quality issue and does not affect the sculpture’s appearance, durability, or use.
