1. Is this sculpture made of solid bronze or resin?
All Toperkin sculptures are made from solid bronze. We do not use resin, composite, or bronze-plated materials.

2. What is the difference between bronze and resin sculptures?
Bronze sculptures are heavier, more durable, and suitable for long-term use. Resin sculptures are lighter and typically used for decorative purposes only.

3. Will the sculpture look exactly like the photos?
Each sculpture is handcrafted. Minor variations in texture, patina tone, and surface details are normal and part of the uniqueness of handmade bronze art.

4. Will the bronze rust?
Bronze does not rust like iron. Over time it naturally develops a patina, which protects the surface.

5. How is the sculpture made?
Our sculptures are produced using traditional lost-wax casting techniques, followed by hand-finishing, surface treatment, and patina application.

6. Is each piece handmade?

7. Can the same process be used for small and large sculptures?
Yes. The same casting principles apply to both small decorative pieces and larger custom projects.

8. Are your sculptures signed?

Construction & Internal Structure

10. Is the sculpture solid inside or hollow?
Toperkin bronze sculptures are cast using traditional hollow casting techniques. This is a standard and professional practice in bronze sculpture making. Casting a sculpture as a solid block of bronze may cause internal stress, deformation, or cracking during cooling. Hollow casting helps ensure structural stability, proper form, and long-term durability. It also allows for safer handling and transportation.

11. Why do some bronze sculptures make a slight sound when gently shaken?
This can be a normal characteristic of cast bronze sculptures.During the casting process, sand-based molds are used to shape the interior structure. After casting, the mold material is carefully removed, but in rare cases, tiny residual particles may remain inside the hollow cavity. Over time and during transportation, these particles may loosen and create a faint sound when the sculpture is gently moved. This does not indicate a quality issue and does not affect the sculpture’s appearance, durability, or use.

12. Will the color change over time?
Yes. Bronze naturally develops a patina over time. This is a normal and desirable characteristic of authentic bronze sculptures.

16. Can the sculpture be displayed outdoors?
Bronze can be displayed outdoors, but weather exposure may accelerate natural patina development. Please contact us if you need recommendations for outdoor placement.
